Remus coughed lightly to himself, glancing 'round. "I guess I really /am/ unpopular, if I made everyone run off. Hmm.. Maybe I should run off too. Nah." "Talking to yourself? That's the first sign of madness, that is." A portrait of a broad-shouldered man called, and Remus ignored him, sitting down on the window. "Then hairy palms." This earned a glare from Remus.

James strained his ears as all conversation died away. He heard Anya flounce away and so he rounded the corner, in front of Sirius, eye blazing.
"Well... Been having a good time?" He asked Remus, stonily.

Remus jumped, before seeing James. Oh.. Sugar. He shook his head, still managing to remain cool. Somehow. "No, not really." Remus answered, unblinking amber gaze fixed upon James' eyes, boring into them.

James snarled a little, Remus' calm reply annoying him no end. "What the hell were you doing? Kissing Lily?!" He glared, aware that he didn't really know what was going on. But he didn't care- at the moment all he saw was the black and white- Remus had kissed Lily and at the moment thats all he could see in his minds eye.
Nevermind the fact he'd just kissed some random girl he didn't really care about- what if Remus and Lily started going out? And what about the thing with Sirius?!

He quirked an eyebrow at James' soft 'snarl', wondering if he was taking the mick or James didn't realise he was 'snarling'. "Actually, James. /She/ kissed /me/." Remus murmered, realising he'd probably lost.. Oh.. three, maybe four friends, depending whose side Sadie Butley was on. And what about him and Lily? No, they wouldn't be going out. That was clear. This was just a.. Random thing.

Sirius shook his head as James snarled at him. "No..." he mutteerd, as his friend stepped in front of him, "But I know what it's like to have your brother kiss the girl you liked since first year...."
The boy sighed, sliding 'round the corner and sinking to the floor, leaning his back against the wall.

James caught himself as Sirius spoke. He'd forgotton about the whole buisness with Regulus. Shit. He brought a hand up to his face and rubbed at his forehead.
..."Actually James, . /She/ kissed /me/... Remus' words echoed in his head and he let them sink in. In his defence he had thought well, Grace had kissed me. So if he didn't want to be a hypocrit he had to accept that.
He suddenly dropped all the 'theatrics' "Right," he said to Remus "Right... Whatever," turning to Sirius he closed his eyes for a second before saying "Sorry..."
He then stayed between them- silent before sliding down next to Sirius.

Sirius only shrugged, swiftly looking up to catch a glance of James' face before allowing his gaze to slide over to Remus... to Lily... to Anya. "Wow..." he murmured, a diluted smile playing about his lips. "Made a right mess of this, haven't we..."
The boy cracked his knuckles (an action of which he was unaware of) and dropped his legs so that the backs stroked the floor and the limbs were straight, instead of drawn up to his chin.
Resting his palms in his pockets, Sirius turned to James. "We might need to sort this, don't you think?" Without giving his friend time to answer, Sirius turned to the other group, "Don't you?" he probed, tentatively.
