"Oh, no, it has to be here." Andromeda replied trying her best to casually change the subject away from Regulus, her finger still tracing title after title. "Because if it isn't I'm going to go jump off the Astronomy tower so I won't have to go to Herbology tomorrow." The Ravenclaw said with not much sarcasm. It probably sounded like she was actually going to attempt the suicidal jump just to avoid a class.

Regulus stared in Sirius in shock and he took a few steps back, he too was shaking. He knew Sirius would react like this. He knew Sirius would blow his top. He knew Sirius would try and kill him.
He sank back into his chair taking in deep breaths. I hate you Regulus Black Those words rang in his head over and over. I hate you. Sirius..had never told Regulus he hated him. Though Regulus always had a feeling Sirius felt that way, the words stung him. Sirius just didn't understand. Once again...the Black nature was showing.
"This...this is why you're like father sometimes Sirius. When you react like this." He cringed as he said it. "This is the Black side of you." He looked over at his brother, "I won't take it back. I can't change the way I feel. I'm sorry." He stood up, "Becides" he added softly, "You rejected him."

ll -reads over thread again- Wow, very dramatic... -silence- Yay for drama! :3 ll
Andromeda's head dropped in a mixture of despair and frustration as she listened to Regulus comment. People really couldn't just drop topics around here, could they? They always had to try and get a rouse out of their opponent. This was truly 'Grade A Thinking'. Psh.
"Sirius, do not leave this isle." Andromeda warned as she brought her head back up to it's usual position. "Don't say anything, don't think anything, but most importantly, don't do anything." The funny thing about the tone of Andy's voice was she wasn't suggesting Sirius could follow her advice, she was implying that he was going to listen to her.
"Trust me on this one." Andromeda sighed. "I have much experience in this field." Andy was only speaking the truth.

Anya had gone back, hiding amongst the stacks of books. When she heard those words, "I love Remus". She felt /angry/. There was such little emotion in those words. After Sirius had walked away, she jumped out.
"You 'Love' him? Do you even know who he is? What he is? Have you seen him, the real him? God... You hardly even know Remus. And you say you love him with about as much emotion as a troll in your voice?" Anya was big when it came to love. And while this was really none of her business, since it wasn't as if she and Rem's had ever been together, if someone said they loved him, she wanted to make sure they wouldn't hurt him.

Regulus looked at Anya. "Yes I know who he is. Yes I know what he is. I've seen him change, I've seen the beast..." He closed his eyes, "And I don't care about all that. It didn't change my mind about him when I first found out. I love him..for him. Why can't you guys accept that?"
He opened his eyes and the young boy looked rather sad, "Am I not allowed to love?"

"Well you should know then- He refuses to let himself be with /anybody/ he himself loves. Thats one reason why he's so miserable. He tries to make everything seem OK. But it's not. If you really love him, then I'm sure you can see that. In his eyes. His eyes tell everything. He's lonely, lost, hurting. But it's no use loving him. He'll refuse to accept it, it seems. Even if you do love him- It will never get anywhere Regulus. You'll hear this from Remus himself as well. So you might as well try to lock it away. It'll be difficult- depending on how long you've know you loved him. But thats my advice to you. It's better than letting this go further, and make you end up hurting more. You're allowed to love. You've just chosen a bad person /too/ love, in a sense of speaking." Heh. Alot of that advice Anya was trying to follow herself. Especially this next bit. "You'll find someone else who will help you. Who you'll love just as much. Trust me- If you look for them, you'll find that person. For me?I have Kai. If it weren't for him, I prolly would have hurt you for saying you loved Remus. I think he's a bit upset with the fact that I still love Rem's, but he's helping me get over him. You'd do well to find someone like that."

The third year Gryffindor had never known that amount of hatred in Sirius' voice. Never. It suprised her and she had watched him go with Andromeda, suprise written all over face. Everything was getting too heated for her. Too meaningful. Too emotional. She had to leave the Library before it got too much. But she had to stay in case Anya and Sirius tried to rip Regulus to pieces. Or he had one of those funny turns and vice versa. Great. "Anya, you know more about Remus. Can you help him with what to do? I have no idea what to say about the matter, because I've never been in love with Remus. Very good friends, yes. But not in love with him. Please Anya?"

Remus Lupin in question, had been listening, and had heard. Everything – every little scrap of conversation. Though, he had no idea on what to think of it. He didn’t feel any emotion for Regulus, save that he considered the Slytherin a friend. It was a hopeless case, really, so he didn’t know why everyone was getting so wound up. Anya was wrong, as well. Remus was happy along, or, so he told himself. He didn’t need anyone. Rejection was a hard thing, and the lycanthrope wasn’t willing to try it again.
The auburn-haired teen had, in fact, been here for quite a while, quietly hidden amongst a pile of books, studying and doing homework. A lovely new set of scars was quite clear on his pale, tired face, and Remus was quite sure that he had been about to fall asleep. That is, until he heard the voices of Sadie and Regulus. And, more importantly, what they had been talking about. Someone he didn’t know had spoken, and then Sirius.
Sirius’ protectiveness had surprised Remus, though why he didn’t know. Why was Sirius being protective, anyway? It wasn’t up to him who Remus befriended and loved, even if it was Sirius’ sibling. He stood, pushing his chair back, the legs just audibly scraping the floor. He scratched his head, hurrying quickly through the isles. He didn’t want a fight to start, especially not because of him. “Uhm, Regulus? Anya? Sirius? And Sadie, of course.” As he called for Sirius, he lifted his voice a bit, as Sirius wasn’t terribly near.
The werewolf frowned slightly at them all, hands in the pockets of his second-hand robes, which hung baggily from his frame. Amber eyes flickered from each person, a frown still creasing his forehead, licking his dry lips. “Maybe … Maybe we should talk. All of us. And no fights, either.”

Anya seemed to have a habit of messing up others peoples business. And when Remus appeared, it looked like she had done it again Prolly would have happened anyway, but that was beside the point. Either way, she felt somewhat responsible. She shouldn't even be in this mess.
It wasn't as if she had any right to control Regulus' Love Life, nor state things about Remus that might've been in her imagination. Blue eyes made their way to study Remus' face, and sighed. More scars, she wasn't too terribly surprised. It wasn't as if he was going to suddenly stop being a werewolf. "Yes talk, that's a good idea."

When Regulus heard Remus' soft voice he quickly looked over. "Remus.." he mummured. He glanced over to the others then back to the werewolf and he slowly nodded.
“Maybe … Maybe we should talk. All of us. And no fights, either.” The words rang in Regulus' ears and he nervously shoved his hands in his pockets and nodded.
"Yes...maybe we should.." He paid no attention to his brother or the others, but his attention was now focused on Remus.

Sadie watched as the lycan made his presence known. She sighed sadly as she scanned his pale and sickly face. It was horrible to see her best friend with new scars upon his face. It made her feel guilty that she couldn't do anything to help him Just then his words met her ears. “Maybe … Maybe we should talk. All of us. And no fights, either.” she heard him say. She nodded her head softly in agreement. "Yeah we should talk." Talk? This whole thing had nothing to do with her. There was really no point of her saying anything.

For a moment, Sirius had obyed Andromeda's orders, not moving from where he stood beside her, speaking only to inform her once again that the book she searhed for would not be found. "I have the book," he muttered - and would have continued had he not heard Remus' call.
"Bugger!" Hearing his name, Sirius strode over to where he had left the dicussion group, arriving just as Regulus spoke. "I really don't think talking will help very much," he interjected, the moment Sadie had finished speaking, "But do what you want. I'm leaving."
With that, Sirius turned away once more, his feet leading him towards the library door, when he wanted nothing more than to talk to Andy.

Andromeda blinked as Sirius once again told her the book was not in the library, and that he had it. "Wh--" She was cut off as her younger cousin left the isle... and went back twords his friends. Andy was a bit baffled of what she heard next, so glanced through an empty space in the bookshelf to confirm her curiosity. Sirius was leaving the library, (most likely going to the Gryffindor common room) knowing where Andromeda could get a copy of her book that the Ravenclaw needed that very night?
Not hesitating, Andy hurried twords the library door striding past the small group of third years, and Regulus. She didn't remember producing so much drama when she was their age. Without another thought on that matter, Andromeda spotted the older Black brother. "Sirius!" She called softy, trying to keep her tone down. "Sirius, where is my book?" It was a very sudden question, but the fourth year was determined to keep her Herbology grades up.

On hearing his name once again, Sirius came to a halt. He hadn't succeeded in getting very far, only a few aisles away from the gathering.
Eyebrows raised, the boy responded. "Your cousin just announced he was gay and you're still interested in finding your herbology book?!" Sirius laughed hollowly, before drawing heavy lids over his eyes. "Oh Andy, you're great." His words were genuine, with no trace of sarcasm, "The library's book is on some random shelf in here. Muggle Studies if I remember rightly. Your copy is in my trunk right now. Transfigured into a bag of rat pellets. Just in case anyone found it and thought me a geek for having a book that's too old for me."

"It's not actually too much of a shock." Andromeda began. "Personally, I've noticed many people in this school have gone gay. Take that Nirak Dragon for example. With him I... well, that's sort of a personal experience type of thing." Andromeda nodded, not sure of what else to add to her comment. She wasn't just going to randomly start telling Sirius of her little run in with the seventh year. "But getting to the point, I s'pose some people just... are like that. Well, on the bright side, I'm not in Regulus' gene pool." A pause. "Shit, I am, aren't I?" Andy was babbling now. "Well, as long as you haven't crossed over to the 'dark side', "Andromeda's index and middle fingers shot up and down to the rhythm of her phrase. "I'm fine. We couldn't have an overly happy little Sirius running about, could we now? What would the fan club say?" Andy's hands casually fell into the front pockets of her robes. "Anyways, I'll stop ranting now." The Ravenclaw sighed, brushing a strand of hair out of her face. "And if I can't find my book I'll be forced to hunt you down like an animal, you know." Andromeda said a matter-of-factly, beginning to turn twords the Muggle Studies section. It hadn't crossed her mind yet why her younger cousin had taken her book.
"You see, this is what happens when you only talk to Devin and the occasional person during dinner when you ask them to 'pass the potatoes'. You start trying to have a conversation with the first person you'd consider normal, so chin up." The fourth year said with a mixture of despair and humor in her voice. "And I know I'm great." She grinned over her shoulder, finally leaving her younger cousin to himself. Boys being boys, he probably didn't give a damn about whatever Andy had to say, but oh well. It was nice talking to someone who could slightly understand you sometimes.
