Sadie merely sat and watched the exchange of words between the two cousins. Ahh. Andromeda Black. The other member of the Black family she had forgotten about. Seriously. She's never known such a large family. She smiled briefly as Regulus reclaimed his seat. "I don't know! I'm not exactly good at this sort of thing. I-" she trailed off as she followed Regulus' gaze to Anya. "Oh um.. Hi Anya. Regulus has just erm. Lost some of his stuff and was asking me if I had seen it"

Whistling, a rather lanky third year strolled into the library, stealing a quick glance at the librarian before darting among the book-shelves and continuing along his way.
Thankfully, Madame Pince seemed to be occupied. At least, that's what her screaming seemed to indicate. Apparently she didn't appreciate pupils bewitching the books to make them sing vulgar songs when opened.
Sirius shrugged slightly, pushing aside the twinge of guilt that had chosen to rest in his stomach for a moment. He did feel a little sorry for the kid. It was obligatory to feel a little sorry for him. Sirius was the one who had bewitched the book, after all. But the kid shouldn't have been so stupid as to open the tome in the first place. He deserved all the the shouting.
Having consoled himself, Sirius continued to walk along the shelves, running his index finger against each book's spine as he past it. What was he doing in the library? This was his third visit in a week! His standards were slipping. If he had to make another visit, he thought, he'd be inclined to take James' cloak. He couldn't risk anyone seeing him in the library again. Four times in a week was just too much.
Running a hand through his already tousled locks (Yes, he was experimenting with James' technique. So what?), Sirius sped up a little. Andromeda had to be in here somewhere. He had hidden that text book of hers, hadn't he? Kissed that Ravenclaw second year so she'd go into his cousin's room and take the book? Of course he had. He had been almost positive that she would need it at some point that day... which would lead in her going to the library. The only thing his cousin didn't know was that Sirius had taken the library copy too, just to keep her in the library, searching, until he arrived. And why? He needed to talk to her.
And on this note, Sirius arrived at the Herbology section of the library. Right at the back, it was, far from prying eyes. Sirius had had to offer double kisses to make sure it was a herbology book. Second years were tough when they wanted to be... Shaking his head, Sirius looked about the shelves, searching for his cousin - and finding more than he'd bargained for. It looked to be a family gathering.
Dark eyes widening, Sirius stared at Regulus, before turning his gaze to Anya, to Sadie and then to Andromeda. A frown began to creep onto Sirius' brow. "Wow. Did the gathering invite miss me?" he queried, his question laced with sarcasm.
Falling silent, the boy ambled over to his Andromeda, standing beside her and looking earnestly into her eyes before speaking again, "You're all here why?" Without giving his female relative a chance to answer, Sirius crossed over to his brother, his shoulders tensing visibly as he did so, "Especially you, little brother. I thought I told you a while ago not to go near Sadie again?" Having glared at his sibling, Sirius continued, "And was that you I heard stuttering a shout? You can hear you from the other end of the library, you know. You might want to sort that old stutter, Reggy. I'm sure Mother and Father would pay for the treatment. But that's beside the point. What didn't you want Andy to hear? What're you hiding, Regulus?"

The brunette witch flipped a lock of hair out of her eyes, irratated by the mass gathering that had seemed to appear within a matter of minutes. "Regulus here was being civil to me Sirius. He was asking me for advice because a few of his things have gone missing." she said coldly to Sirius. She had no time for him at the moment as his fan club were constantly reminding her of what a loser, cheap tart blah blah blah she was. Nice Huh? "It's nothing for you all to get excited about is it? A few misplaced items? It's hardly the end of the world.."

Regulus quickly nodded to what Sadie said giving her a breif look of thanks for thinking up something so quickly, and for not letting what he told her slip out. Hopefully Sirius would believe what Sadie said and would leave it at that. He gleared at Sirius and didn't say anything for a long time.
"Exactualy Sirius. Just a few misplaced items, I'm allowed to ask for help aren't I?" He didn't look away from his brother. He only hoped Sirius didn't ask what was missing.

Sirius couldn't help but notice the coldness in Sadie's voice - Sadie was hardly attempting to conceal it, was she? Annoyed by her words, he turned back to her, his manner as icey as his tone of voice.
If she wanted to be cold towards him, he could do the same. Having cast his ex what he hoped was a fixing stare, but was in fact mingled with slight hurt and disappointment, Sirius answered her. "If, Sadie, that was the case, why would he be hiding what he was saying? Especially to his cousin?!" This last word was emphasised with a quick, sharp gesture in Andromeda's direction. "I'm not stupid, Sadie, as you seem to think I am. He's done this sort of thing to me before. I know what he's like. It's just a shame you lot don't. I don't know why you even talk to him. If you'd had to live with him for twelve years, you'd stop talking to him pretty soon, I can tell you." Here, the teen again looked at Andy, searching her eyes for back-up, support. "I'm right aren't I, Andy?"
everything Regulus said went ignored.

Regulus eyes narrowed and he stepped in front of Sadie and he gleared coldy at Sirius. Sirius...could be so cold sometimes. He was just as bad as their father sometimes, weather he liked it or not...he was just like his father, deep down. He took a deep breath, "Bugger off Sirius," he growled, "You're acting just like father."

Sirius face seemed to freeze in an expression of disbelief as he heard his brother's response. Eyes wide, he slowly turned on his heel to face the second-year, colour quickly draining from his face as he did so.
Pale, stunned and angry, Sirius clenched his fists and forced himself to remain calm. "Don't you dare say that! I'm nothing like him, nothing like that nutter at all! Last time I checked, I was not a security freak! Last time I checked, I did not dabble in the dark-arts... nor did I hate muggle-borns! Unlike you and him! I'm nothing like him, Regulus, nothing, and nothing gives you the right to say I am! So just.... shut up, ok? And I will not bugger off, either. I have as much reason to be here as you do. Plus, I'm intrigued as to what you're hiding. Don't you think you can boss me about, Regulus, 'cause it won't work. You try anything and I'll hex you to high heaven! Remember, Mummy and Daddy aren't here to protect their precious little Reggy. At Hogwarts, you have to stand up for yourself like a man. Like I've had to, ever since I was a little kid."

Regulus gleared, "YouARE acting like father. Talking to Sadie like that and now your threatening to hex me? Thats just like father." He steped foward his voice very shakey, "Deep down your just like him... weather you like it or not your just like him deep down. All the Black's have it, we're all pure blood freeks deep down."
He stepped foward looking deep into his brothers eyes, "And I do not 'dabble' in the dark arts. And I do not hate muggle borns or half bloods." He was shaking, "Theres alot about me that you don't know. But if you want to hex me, go ahead!"

Sirius' hands clenched tighter, his fists two tight balls. "If you say that one more time Regulus, I'll never forgive you! I am not like him! He hates me remember, he hates me and if I was like him, he'd love me. I'd be his perfect kid. I never said I wanted to hex you, I said if you tried doing anything to me that I would. So before you go round accusing people, get your facts straight, ok?!"
The teen's eyes were wild with anger, now, his breath was coming faster as he struggled to contain his anger. "I can't belive you, Regulus, I just can't believe you. I am not like you. I am not like the Blacks. Sometimes there's a kid who breaks the Black mould. Me, for instance. Andromeda. We are nothing like you, Regulus. We are not self-centred, arrogant. weak, cowardly. Not like you!2

Regulus narrowed his eyes, "I've already broken the Black Mould! I've already proved that I'm not like the Blacks! IF father knew.." he trailed off, "If father knew I'd be in the same boat as you!" He shook his head, "I'm already in the same boat." he whispered, "I love Remus.."
His eyes widdened as soon as he said. Right in front of the person he didn't want to tell in the first place.

Sadie had sighed and frowned as the two brothers of Black had argued about who was like their father. They were both their own person, nothing like anyone else. Unique. Why did Sirius always have to force the truth out of people? WHY? was the though that had run through her mind as Regulus admitted the thing he hadn't wanted to say. "Regulus! I thought you didn't want him to know!"

"That's enough, kids." Andy sighed, and as if on cue, she grabbed Sirius' shoulder and yanked him back twords her at Regulus' words. She couldn't believe the nerve of them when you let them be together, but especially Regulus! All the Black's have it, we're all pure blood freeks deep down.
Andromeda snorted as she replayed the comment in her mind. What a prat.
Giving Sirius' shoulder another yank, Andromeda attempted to turn Sirius tword her. "Breath." She told him, knowing what Regulus just confessed would have a large impact on him. "Just breath."

As Regulus confessed, the other Black boy's expression swiftly morphed from one of fury to one indescribable.
I love Remus.
Slow and silent, Sirius tried to pry himself from his cousin's tight grip, leaning towards Regulus in a bid to grab at him. Within seconds, his actions had become bigger, bolder, stronger, fueled by rage. "Take that back!" he yelled, pulling against Andromeda and almost breaking free, panting heavily all the while. "You don't love him! You can't love him! He's not for you to love! You're just trying to ruin it all, aren't you? Aren't you, you little brat?!"
Again, Sirius lunged forward, but not with enough power to escape Andromeda. His normal strength seemed to have deserted him. He was trembling all over.
He went to spit in his brother's face, but was refrained from doing so by another yank on his shoulder, by Andromeda's turning him. "Breathe, just breathe." Sirius tried to just that, but his breaths were coming in great gasps now. His previously drawn face was deeply coloured, and his eyes flashed as tried to keep control of his emotions.
As Andy soothed him, the boy took a breath, and another, and another, gulping down the cool air as if his life depended on it. Slowly his breathing became more normal. Ignoring Regulus, Anya, Sadie, he stared at his older cousin, his nose wrinkled, his face now that of a bewildered six year old. "I hate him," he murmured simply, before dropping his gaze to his feet, "I just hate him." His voice increased in volume, then, and in passion, "I hate you, Regulus Black!"

Andromeda was glad that her grip was tight enough on Sirius for him to not clobber Regulus. It would have been a Celestia and her all over again if she had let him go.
Andy looked at Sirius' expression, and almost winced in emotional pain. Like Regulus, she was seeing herself in Sirius, but in an angrier, much angrier state. It was almost uncanny. ll ^^ Fun word. ll Maybe all the Blacks where somewhat similar. Well, in looks anyway. Defiantly not emotionally, but physically. Although Andy had lashed out at Bellatrix numerous times and taken a giant plunge down below hell, (if such a place) and then was sometimes restrained by either Narcissa or her mother, (and once her father, not a very pleasant experience mind you) she always lost. Always. So in a way she was like Regulus, and in a way she was like Sirius, and in many other ways, she was herself. Andromeda.
"Come on Sirius..." She muttered, pulling her cousin twords a deserted Herbology section, finally letting her grip slack. "Help me find my book, would you?" She asked, taking her hands off her cousin and standing with her nose just inches away from the shelf, her finger tracing each book's title.

Limp now, Sirius allowed himself to be led away to another corner of the library. He felt numb, useless. He should have hit Regulus while he had the chance.
All blinking ceased, he gazed at his cousin, though his eyes were unseeing. Only when Andy spoke was he roused.
He shook his head in response. "Don't bother looking. It's not there." The lad's voice was hoarse and forced, nothing like it was normally, "It's not there."
