Name: Devin Nelly Smithers
Nicknames: Dev... and um... Devin
House: Ravenclaw
Year: 3
Physical Description: Devin doesn’t stand much taller than 5’4. She has reddish brown hair cut off at her shoulders. It was rather curly and had a few small ringlets entangled inside it. She could often be found wearing mismatched earrings or socks, and her shirts were never tucked in. Devin was tan (thanks to her Italian heritage) and her eyes were just about the deepest shade of brown that you could imagine. Her face always expressed her emotions right out in the open. Very few times had she ever found reason to hide them. Distinct dimples were formed on either side of her mouth whenever she broke out into a smile… This actually happened quite often.
Personality: Strange doesn’t even begin to cover it. I strongly think that Devin could not be fully understood by anyone, at least, not thus far. The way she thought wasn’t quite normal, and her mind seemed open to any thought that might be flung into it at any given time. She had the tendency to state some of these thoughts passing through her head without really thinking. This gave her the appearance of being completely sane one moment and then have her mentality questioned the next. She is very social, and becomes rather… unstable when she’s been alone for too long. Devin does have one major weakness though. Tears. If anyone around her starts crying her heart melts like butter and she can’t help but comfort them.
Background: Devin was of a pureblood background, in the sense that both her parents were not muggles. Her father had been a half muggle, but she didn’t really care much for what type of blood you had. You could be half cheesepuff and she wouldn’t give a care. Her life back at home was normal, so nobody really knew what caused her to act so strange…
