As you probably all know, we’re a group of literates. Meaning, we don’t want depsies. So, getting to the point, you’re character MUST be normal. Normal in a normal sense… Ignore that.
Basically, they cannot be an Animagus (Except for the Marauders, but that’s in their fifth year), Veela (No matter what their background), Werewolf (‘Cept Remus), Vampire (I’ve never heard of one), or anything like that.

So, unless your character was mentioned in the books as one of the above, they cannot be ‘special’ like my Remus, or the Marauders. Tonks is an exception.

Also, no special talents unless you confirm it's OK with Moo. For instance, you're character can't automaticly be an empath, seer, telepath, ect. -coughblush- Even though I accidentally did that. -sheepish look- But I figure it's best if people know that, so we don't have people with superpowers and what not. Cause that's another sad form of despi-ism.

Question: twins have twin telepathy, that is really not a special power considering it is only on themselves, is that OK?

Well I understand twin telelpathy, but i have a set of twins that are my cousins, and it's not has powerful as you say it is. They can only tell if the other is feeling a particulary strong emotion, or in danger. So maybe tone it down a bit?

OH No! Devin is not considered to 'special' is she? I mean, her past wasn't too dramatic was it? I just thought it was a good story, and now shes kinda handycapped. A little.. sorta... kinda... not really. BUT THATS NOT MY POINT! Do you think I should change it a bit?

Personally, I would say that Janya's ok... seeing as everything that happened is in the past, and she's only been left with a bit of a phobia etc.
As long as you don't make this massive deal out of it, you should be fine. You may want to wait for Moo to confirm this, but that's my opinion.
I mean... Sirius was thrown into a pond full of Grindylows as a nine year old, as a test set by his great-uncle Dolpheldus Black. The Uncle wanted to see how good Sirius' magic was... Naturally, Sirius now hates Grindylows (as well as his uncle) and, having sustained a few grindylow scratches which scarred him, will try and crush any one he sees.
But that's all in the past, and I don't mention it (Actually, the incident wasn't created until just now), so whilst the occurance makes Sirius seem pretty special, I can get away with it 'cos I don't draw attention to the fact. Would you agree with that, everyone?

-pops in- I agree with it Twiggy, and a question. With Lanelle and Theo, they well, umm... the brother sister thing, is everyone okay with that? Because I just base that stuff off of personal experiences like that one time I threw a taco at my brother. -shifty eyes- You didn't see that. o.0

Lanelle and Theo are fine. It's not magic specialties- Just sibling rivalry. Perfect normal.
