Staring incredulously at the instructions infront of her, Oriana gulped.
Six bat wings inserted with dragon hide gloves, stirred once and then immediately powder with clover batter. Stir clockwise seven times before letting simmer and reducing flames to position for next procedure.
It went on like that for almost two rolls of parchment, trailing down across her desktop and bumping the now annoyed sixth year Hufflepuff across from her at the table. Whispering a quick sorry to the boy, Oriana sighed heavily. Why can't I be a second year again? she asked herself over and over, her head resting sideways in one small hand. "Miss Obeth," a cold voice pronounced clearly from the front of the room. "You're dead." the Hufflepuff coughed quietly, moving purposely in his seat to hide the large smile Oriana knew meant nothing good.

Looking as though she would very like to punch the face in of the Hufflepuff, Oriana stiffly turned to the front of the room. "Yes, Professor?" she asked hesitantly. "Do you not understand your instructions, or shall I write them as though you were a second year student?" the teacher replied just as evilly as before, as though it was all a big joke within his classroom. "No, Professor." Oriana said, though her mind was thinking to reply quite the opposite as she reached for her gloves furiously, immensely embarassed.

Clouting her bat wings with clover powder, Oriana thrust the sthingy back in and stirred them six - not seven times - around clockwise. Only just aware that she had not stirred the potion seven times, she hopefully stirred it once more but it gave an almost mocking loud hiss and turned purple instead of a soft green. "Maybe I should have, Miss Obeth." "No, sir, I'll try harder." Looking desperately around the room for someone to help do it right again, Oriana's face began to thicken in a pale colour.
