On this fine summer day, there were many students gathered outside. It was alot nicer than beeing in that stuffy castle. Audrena Holmes was one of those students. Her legs were in the lake, a book in her lap, bright eyes darting across the pages.
Yes, today was a lovely day, and the water felt very refreshing. Chocolate hair pulled back with a soft green ribbon, the sun beat down on her, making it shine. However, most people didn't notice Audre was there. They never did. Why would they? After all, she was just another student, with another messed up history. Wasn't it fun being a teenager? Her only friend was the head girl, Sonja Lycania. And she was graduating this year, which would leave the Fifth-year all alone for her next to school years.

"Skuld?" Dandeao Fidelis frowned, slowly making his way through what was practically a sea of other students outside. The young Hufflepuff male's soft blonde hair was restrained by a simple piece of black yarn, his deep blue eyes practically mirroring the gentle hue of the summer sky. His expression, generally a bit tame, was hindered by a bit of worry- as at the moment, he was attempting to separate the small cat who was most often his only trustworthy companion from the various distractions going on. The cat, Skuld, had been around ever since his second year here at Hogwarts- having been a 'present' from back home (It was a relief that Dandeao's grandfather had remembered to put air-holes in the box the feline was temporarily under the tree in); and ever since then seemed to constantly frolic away and lead to trouble. The blonde male sighed, finally spotting the small black feline stalking a girl with a book at the lake's edge; just as the cat seemed to pounce on the girl's lap. ((Bah. Sorry. My brain is not working...xD))

A slight yelp of surprised came out from the girls lips, as a small black /thing/ jumped ontop of her book, and in her lap. It took her a short while to realise it was a cat, of all things. It just looked like a small blob of fur, to her. Glancing around for a possible owner, Audrena sighed, lifting a hand and petting the feline. Surely someone would claim him eventually.

The feline began to purr loudly, rubbing it's small head against Audrena's stomach in an overly tame manner. The little thing was practically adorable, if it hadn't been for the fact that it's right eye was clouded over and seemed to be visionless; and a small purple ribbon with a bell seemed to have been carefully fastened around it's neck. After a few moments of this annoyingly cute purring and rubbing, the cat perked up an ear, mewing in a kitten-like fashion as the figure of it's owner speed-walked over towards them, seeming a tad flustered. "Skuld!" The cat leapt from Audrena's lap and trotted to it's master's feet, now beginning the rubbing and purring all over again. The feline's owner bent over, stroking the cat and murmuring something to it, before looking up at the girl with the book. He stared, seemingly somewhat stunned for a split second, before nervously smiling. "Um…hello. Thank you for keeping my cat out of trouble for a few minutes. I hope she didn't cause you any problems?"

She stared at him for a moment, before answering. "No problem. It's not like I couldn't read some other time," There was a hint of amusement in Audrena's voice. "Well, if you don't mind, I'd like to know the name of the owner of the cat I was watching. That way I can hunt you down for payment later," she teased.

The male blinked, smiling and letting out a noise between a soft laugh and a chuckle. "It's Dandeao. Dandeao Fidelis." Dandeao scratched the cat's ear, flinching slightly as it tried to bite his fingers in that vicious-yet-cute way cats usually do. "May I ask what your name is, miss?" The breeze stirred his hair slightly, blowing it to the side.

Audre couldn't help but laugh softly at the Cat's actions. "I'm Audrena Holmes. Pleased to meet you, Dandeao." Audrena was the only one in her family with any manners. Her father prolly had taught her some before he died. Thank god. If he hadn't, Audrena would prolly be a stuck up, rich, rude, bitch. Kinda like Celestia.

Dandeao nodded. "Pleased to meet you, too." The cat mewed, attempting to maul it's master's arm. He flinched, carefully pulling his hand away from the cat's reach. "Ah- and this is Skuld, as long as we're introducing things." Rather than walking away, Dandeao studied the book in Audrena's lap. "By the way…what exactly are you reading?" From the bit of the dust jacket he could see, it looked familiar.

Holding it up, one could now see the words 'Macbeth' scrolled across the cover. It was yet another book from her Step-Fathers library. He always let her bring a few books to school with her, and by the end of the year she would have them memorised. It may seem boring, but it was better than doing nothing.

Dandeao blinked, nervously smiling again. "Oh, Macbeth. That's the same book I'm reading right now. What part are you at?" The hufflepuff slowly went to take a seat on the ground near, or rather next to Audrena, his cat soon leaping into his lap. "You don't mind me sitting here, right?" ((Ohmigawd. Sorry. I'm braindead. XX Still. -sulk-)
