"Talking's one thing," Remus sniffed, another tear running down his cheek. "But hell be damned if I'm going to a home." Remus frowned softly, burying his face in Anya's shoulder.

"I'm sure you could end up staying with James or Sirius. The ministry won't make you go into anykind of boys home or anything.... I don't think." She kissed the top of his head. "Even if they try, we won't let them."

"He'd be better off with James..Remus dosen't need to see Sirius home. See my home." He paused, "Our home." He sighed and he looked to Sadie.
"Remus is my friend. I want to help him."

A whistling Sirius Black strode into the Great Hall, his cockiness restored, the business of Sadie pushed to the nack of his mind. Or at least as far back as he was able to push it.
He looked towards the gryffindor table, and frowned as the crowd caught his eyes. The hall was full of horrified whispers, and Sirius ddin't know why.
Inquisitvely, he strode over towards the crowd of people. Who were they surrounding?
The teen's heart jumped as he realised. It was Remus. He was angry... tearstained - and no-one else looked particularly happy, either.
Coughing slightly, the boy pushed through the people surrounding his friend, muttering an apology as he seemed to knock Sadie aside - forgetting the apology as he knocked his brother. "What's going on?" he enquired, seizing the abandoned paper, which many pupils had been eyeing suspiciously.
He glanced down at the offending article - and swore violently. "Shit, Remus, isn't that your house?!" Sirius fell silent as he scanned the article, before patting his friend empathtically on his shoulder. "Merlin... you'll be alright, mate... I... you can live with me if you want!" he winked, attempting to smile but failing. "Not that you'd want to live with my psrents and that scum..." he murmured, glaring at Regulus.

His eyes filled again as Sirius came over. They were all being so nice. Sirius saying he could stay with him. But what about full moons? He'd be a danger. And Remus didn't want to repeat what had happened with Regulus.

James' eyes opened wide as he took another look at the photo in the paper. 'Shit.' he murmered looking from it too Remus' tearstain face.
'And you know my house is always there,' he said, in addition to Sirius' offer 'For both of you,' he said, nodding again. He knew the situation at both 'The Parentals wont mind,' he added- telling himself to shut up.

"I'm sure they would, James. I mean, it's a huge step from just staying the night or something." Remus whispered, lifting his face from Anya's shoulder. "Plus think of the nights.." He trailed off, gazing at the floor. They all knew, didn't they?

Anya sighed. She would offer her house, since her house had several extra room, plus they were close to the forest and hogwarts. But it would be too strange.

Lily sat silently, contemplating the information she had just received. So Remus' father had killed his mother? And now it was plastered over the most widely read newspaper in the wizarding world? The Slytherins were going to have a field day. Lily's sympathy for the pale boy immediately increased ten-fold. The problems she had with her sister didn't seem so catastrophic now.
The red-head sat, watching, feeling so helpless that she couldn't bear it. She would offer her house for him to stay...but 1) he was a boy that she didn't know that well 2) Petunia would absolutely freak and 3) there was something about nights which she didn't understand...
There was something else she didn't understand, why were Sadie and Regulus fighting? Okay so she knew that Sadie and Sirius had fallen out (how could she not when she was nearly always surrounded by Black's bloody fan club?) but she hadn't heard why. And even if they had fallen out why should those 2 hate each other, surely they were completely separate relationships? But Lily didn't realise how closely intertwined they were.

Anya was sorry for Lily. She didn't know about Remus's condition, so she was compleatly in the dark. Not that it mattered. Lily was so smart, she'd figure it out eventualy.

"Yeah.. And if you ever needed to you could come to my house, my mom wouldn't care. She ignores me anyway. She probably doesn't even remember the fact that she has a daughter. And if you.. Um, ever got ill you could come to Hogwarts.." she suggested after thinking about his current situation.
She shrugged as Sirius bumped into her. "It's ok.." she said quietly whilst glaring over her shoulder at Regulus.

"Come to Hogwarts? It'd be a good idea. But a trouble, in some cases." Remus nodded softly, wide watery amber eyes gazing from one friend to the other. They were such good friends, and he owed them so much. His bottom lip quivered.

James shook his head 'Nah- they'll be fine about it... And I'm sure we could sort out your little..um... problem!' He jutted his chin out 'Where else are you going to go?' he asked.
