"James, mate," Sirius muttered wearily, abandoning his mirror, "Turn around... I'm right behind the both of you!"
((Ack... sorry about the length of that!))

James jumped out of his skin, turned around and pocketed the mirror, 'Oh, hey' he said, as cooly as possible 'And so what if Evans was there?' he said, blushing a little. 'Where've you been?' he asked in alightly accusing tones 'I've been looking everywhere for you!'

Sirius raised his eyebrows in disbelief, "Oh yeah, so what..." he mocked, eyes twinkling, mirth filling the dark pools, "You just happen to fancy the pants off of her... but so what?!"
Rolling his eyes, Sirius scratched the nape of his neck, "Anyway - whaddya mean, wheer was I?! More like where were you! Whilst you were looking for me," At this point the teen snorted, before hastily transfoming the noise into a cough, "While you were looking for me, I was looking for you! And trying to escape Peter! Have sympathy, James!"

James grinned 'Oh yeah,' he said 'That one little fact,' he made a face 'Jesus, Peter still trying to lick your shoes then?' it wasn't that he didn't like Pettigrew, it's just he was a little weirded out by the way he seemed to wee himself with excitment whenever he or Sirius talked to him.
'In that case you have my sympathy, Black... But I was forced to take refuge in the LIBRARY. But then again Evans was there so it wasn't much of a hardship.' he paused 'Fair enough, you've had the worst time, mate..'

Sirius nodded, miming the actions of being violently sick, "Unfortunately so," he muttered, cursing the younger boy under his breath, "Why can't he just leave us a lone? Why hasn't he realised that we don't like him?!"
Sirius sighed, cracking his knuckles - a habitual action that a certain Miss Evan's had given life to one more. "Yeah... exactly. You had he to moon over, and you had Remus," Sirius smiled at his lycanthrope friend, "So it wasn't all bad... I'm glad you've finally seen sense and taken pity on me! Anyway... What do you fancy doing? I hear the caretaker's put up a few more rules?"
The teen laughed so loudly, several first years looked up in alarm, worried something may be happening to their idol. Sirius just winked, causing the small group to redden and giggle furiously. "They have such sad lives... Sadie never did that!"

'Do you think Peter's joined the Fan Club yet?' James asked, snidly 'I mean, you get free badges and everything...' He rolled his eyes and grinned.
'A new set of rules, you say,' he said grinning 'How many do you think we can break in a hour?'
He rolled his eyes 'Sadie never did that,' he mimicked in good nature, 'Well just as well then, isn't it?!' he said as the fan club advanced, 'We better move,' he said eyeing the girls weirly.

Sirius cackled, finding his friend's joke highly amusing. It may have been a rather horrible comment, perhaps even undeserved, but Sirius saw only the humour in it. "Probably... If it wasn't a fan-club for me, I might join! Those badges are s'posed to be pretty good, y'know!"
Laughing, the teen followed his friend's gaze. "Yeah - now would be a good time to move," he said, attempting to push James down the corridoor, scolding him for the comment concerning Sadie. "And in answer to your question... I have no idea. Quite a few, I should imagine... Why don't we go find out? We've both been in detention so much, we haven't done anything good for ages... except them furry things we let loose in the greenhouses... Yeah - we'll go and get a few supplies from the Common Room, then we'll head forteh dungeons... Agreed?"
Sirius's eyes shone as he planned the pranks they could pull, running through each in his mind's eye, finding the thoughts as clear as they would be found in Pensieve. "Fancy it, Remus?"

Lily rolled her eyes behind her book as she listened to the boys' intent. Her face however blanched visibly as Black cracked his knuckles. With a wince she closed her book and realised she wouldn't be able to study with that lot in the library anyway. Scooping up her books she nodded to the librarien and walked briskly out the door and down the corridor.

"No, Sirius, I don't," Remus answered, shaking his head. "I don't like that caretaker, and I'd rather trust something I don't trust. I prefer the moon to the caretaker." The boy added, amber eyes glinting.

James sniggered as he remembered the furry things. 'Spoilsport,' he said, digging Remus in the ribs, not hard though. 'Well I'm up for it, Black,' he said.
Suddenly he stopped a random Fan Club girl, his back to Sirius and Remus he conversed with her for about a second. As he turned back he had a badge pinned to his robes and two more in his hand 'Well..' he said 'These badges are better than I thought! Look, they have flashing colours and everything!' he rolled his eyes and grinned again.
'What type of supplies are you thinking, mate?' he asked as they headed up to the Common Room.
((Does this mean we have to switch boards to the Common Room then the Dungeons?!))

Sirius rolled his eyes at Remus's commetn, yawning as he did so, "You really don't like the caretaker, do you?!" he joked, gently cuffing his friend round the head, "Well... as long as James is up for it... But, ideally, we need three - We could find Peter?" As he thought, James handed him a badge. Breaking from his pensive state, Sirius looked to object now clutched in his hand, "Woah..." he breathed, studying the badge, "They must really like me if they go through this much trouble!"
Ignoring both James's movements to the Common Room, and his query, Sirius took out his wand, gently prodding the badge with it. The teen's eyebrow raised quizzically as as small, 'Ker-plunk' was heard - though this eyebrow was soon to disappear from view.
Sirius gave yelp of pain, dropping the badge suddenly. As he stood sucking his finger, the badge began to smoke... violent gushes of thick, black smoke. "Bugger..." Sirius commented, picking the object from the floor - a big mistake.
Within a second of his handling it, the badge exploded, showering Sirius with black powder, coating his face and singing his eyebrows. Coughing slightly, the boy handed the now dormant badge back to James. "Very good..."

James stopped in his tracks and sniggered as Sirius dissapeared from view behind a thick, black cloud. 'Good diversion, though,' he said, 'For getting away from the caretake-' James broke into laughter again as he was handed back the badge.
'You do realise your eyebrows are singed,' he said, shakng his head 'I wonder why they do that?' he said his shoulders still shaking.

"Shut up, just shut up!" Sirius moaned thickly, through a mouthful of the black powder.
"It might be a good diversion, an excellent diversion - it is actually a great diversion..."Spitting violently, he managed to continue, "But that's not the point. What do you mean singed?" Pulling the mirror from his pocket, the teen studied himself closely.
His jaw fell open as he saw the damaged eyebrows. "Oh Merlin!" he groaned, before laughing, "I look ugly!" Using one hand to cover his eyebrows, and the other to grab a hold of James, Sirius began to walk into the library. "You'll have to hide me," he muttered, "I'm banned, but we need to find away to help my eyebrows grow back!"

Remus followed them, muttering, "No, I don't. Seeing as he bloody shot me." He raised his own un-singed eyebrows at Sirius. "What book do you need?" he asked, head inclined to the side, amber eyes sweeping over the Library. One of his favourite places.

Sirius hele back laughter as an earlier incident swam into his mind, "I forget about that!" he mouthed, using James as a shield to protect himself from the eys of the librarian, "All the more reason to get revenge!"
Looking about anxiously, the teen followed Remus's gaze, "What book? What book?! Remus, you're the bloody book expert! Any book! a book that tells us how to make my eye-brows grow back!" Sirius realised the volume in which he had just spoken in and clapped a hand to his own mouth, throwing himself under a table.
Almost instantaneously, Madame Pince looked up, studying her kingdom. After minutes of staring at the library (which seemed like hours to Sirius) she turned back to her orignal task.
Breathing a sigh of relief, the terrified boy allowed his head to emerge, "Did she see me?" he whispered.
