Drowsily, Anya looked out the window of the North Tower. Why did she decide to take divination in the first place? She had only had a so called 'Vision' once. And that was when she was ten. All she had seen was the terrible image of her kitten being run over. Since then, nothing.
She opened the 'Dream Oracle',waiting for the rest of the class to appear. ''Stupid Divination... Bloody Madam Setian keeping the class room too warm and fumed to breath. it was even warmer because of the hot teain the back. Yes, they were reading tea-leaves. All Anya ever saw was a bunch of soggy tea.

The trap-door swung open, and a tired looking Remus Lupin entered. "Sorry Professor," he muttered, sitting down quickly and randomly next to Anya. "I had some... Business to take care of." The teacher nodded understandingly, but pulled a face.
"Hi," Remus muttered to Anya, nodding a quick greeting. He looked quite strange: Auburn hair all mused up, amber eyes wide; and pale face with a slight red tinge. Not to mention the fact that he was panting softly.

"Hullo Remus...." She studied him. "Are you OK? You look kind of well... I don't know what a good word would be. Never mind. I think I'm babbling again,"she laughed quietly.
Madam Setian clapped her hands to get their attention. "Would one person from ever group please get cups for your table?"
Anya made her way too the back, and grabbed two blue teacups.
"Thank you, thank you, Now if you'll please open to page 20 in 'The Dream Oracle' you may begin."
Opening her book, she sighed. "I wonder if ANYONE in this class has ever had their tealeaves be right..."

Remus laughed softly, watching her go and come back. "Tealeaves are tricky. They work sometimes, but then they don't. You never know- anyone in here could tell the future." Remus shrugged softly, amber pools half-closed. (Writers' Block. Ick. o0)

She sighed and drank her tea quickly. "That stuffs hot!" She winced. "Stupid me." She set the cup down, waiting to switch cups.
"It's obvious what it means. It's gonna rain, and the tea dregs represent wet grass,"She said, pretending to sound intellegent. The instructor glared at her, and Anya snickered.

A third year Gryffindor sat near Anya and Remus, silently fuming over her text book quietly muttering oaths to herself, her muttering voice drifting to the ears of several sat nearby. "What?....This is so stupid......die? No that can't be.........fhut." Was the last sound that came out of Lily Evans' mouth as she slammed the book shut and tipped the contents of her cup around inside the china, tapping the small cup with the base of her hand to make the soggy contents move.
Lily's red hair was tied up today, in a simple bun with a few strands which had wormed their way out and were now trailing down her face and into her frustrated emerald eyes. Blowing the rogue tresses away, she pushed the cup away from her and sat fuming silently. This was such a waste of time, she could be studying at the moment for an important subject like charms or transfiguration but no, she had to be stuck in a stuffy room with an even stuffier teacher. How would she last for the whole hour? More to the point how would she last the entire year?

Anya heard Lily and started laughing again. "Lily, whats going on? Having a bad day? Or just bad tea leaves?" Madam Setian glared at her. "She reminds me of a snake, that woman..." Anya added.

"Careful, she might hear you." Lily warned her friend as she turned in her chair and she tried to hold her laughter in. "Yeah these stupid tea leaves say I'm going to die in the next 14 hours, accroding to my book. I think it is possibly the worst book I've ever read and I don't know how they've credited it to be used in a classroom." Lily said shaking her head. "What do yours say anyway?"

" Let me see your cup. She snatched it away from Lily, and studied it. "It's not Hours, it's years. Your supposed to die around age 26, or 27.... Thats more believable than 14 hours!" She said smirking again. "I dunno what mine say yet."

"Are you sure?" Lily asked frowning again. "Huh." She said tilting her head to try and comprehend it. "Oh well, I don't believe these type of things anyway, they seem a bit far-fetched." She said rolling her eyes, "But hey! Anythings possible, right? This is Hogwarts after all." She said grinning at her friend.

"Oh I think some predictions come true. The thing is, there are somany fakes, that people forget about real Seers." She sighed. "Why can't we have good tea leaves? Things that tell us if anyones gonna ask us to the ball or something?"Anya laughed.

Lily laughed at Anya's comment, receiving a glare from the teacher, "Yeah but that would spoil the suprise, wouldn't it?" She asked with a grin. Lily pulled her chair round to join Anya's table, dragging her bag with her. "So who do you want to ask you to the ball?" Lily asked raising an eyebrow at her friend.

She bit her lip. "Ummm can I tell you later?" When there isn't alot of people near by?" She glanced at Remus with a hidden meaning on Lily could understand.
Madam Setain came over to them, looking at Lily's cup qucikly, she gasped. "The Grimm! My dear you have the grimm!"
Anya smirked. "Gimme a break..."She whispered.

Lily frowned at Anya and then smiled, "Ok I can't wait!" She said grinning. She rolled her eyes as the teacher looked in her cup and winked at Anya, "Really, miss?" She said feigning suprise, "I thought it looked more like a mushroom," She said turning the cup around, "And that means prosperity, doesn't it?" She asked batting her eyelashes at the teacher.

"So shes gonna prosper and then die? Cool! Kindof..."
