Why, she thought. Why? Why can't I be normal, and not have feelings for Remus at the same time as Kai? These were the thoughts running through young Anya Delioncours head. Well, they always were. Ever since she had met Kai Charlton. The girls thoughts drifted back to when they had met. It was all because Lily had kissed Remus. Anya had run out in rage, and a blond haired fourth year had come to talk to her. A soft smile grazed her lips. She had come to find out he was Kai Charlton, brother of the 'infamous' Tobias Charlton.
Tobias and her didn't have a good history. He had gone out with Lily, and then broken her heart, and called her a mudblood. The Brunettes thoughts now drifted to another boy. Remus John Lupin, to be precise. He was the first person Anya ever fell for. It was a shame, because he was a werewolf. Remus had been to afraid to hurt her, so their relationship never amounted to much. But she still 'loved' him. Almost as much as Kai. The third year wondered what Lily would say, if she knew.

Kathleene Ceilly sat near the edge of the lake, gazing out at the waters, a sketch pad open to a blank page on her lap. She sighed heavily. She had earily had the personal discovery that her life was excrutiatingly dull and was now pondering ways to remidy this situation. The open notebook at her side held the few ideas she had come up with:
-Get some actual friends -Or maybe just a pet... -Or a potted plant... -Spell whole head of hair to be some obnoxiously loud color -Get a life
As you can imagine, none of these ideas seemed particularily easy or appealing to Kat, who was about as social as the giant squid. She sighed once more and flopped backwards onto the damp grass. And there in her eyes floated the upside down vision of a particularily troubled looking brunette. She sat up and turned around, summoning the small bit of outgoingness that hid deep with in her.
"You look troubled today, Mlle Delioncours," she called out. She decided to leave it at that, rather than embarress herself further.

Anya looked up, startled. "Oh. Heh. Only a little bit." The girl stood up, and walked over to the other, hair falling out of it's bun and to just above her knees. "How have /you/ been today, Kathleene?"

It took a lot for Kat to not express her shock at the fact that Anya actually knew her name. Even after three years, her social interactions were so few that she rarely realized that other people actually knew of her exsistance.
She shrugged. "Life is as usual. Horribly dull and practically unbarable. I think I shall start go mad from it soon. And if not from boredom, from my great lack of sleep."

The third year laughed. "It can't be that horrible, is it?" Of course, she knew little about Kathleenes life. How could she?

The sound of shuffling feet and a muumruing voice could be heard. Sam Blackwell was walking along the lake face in his spiral reading over his poems. So far he had maganed to dodge people with out looking up. But when he cam up to Anya his luck came to a end. SMACK he ran right into her. Shocked he looked up.
"A-A-Anya..." he stuttered and took a step back, "God I'm sorry..I didn't mean too."
Stupid Sam! he thought. Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!

She stumbled back with a blink. "Oh, Sam it's you." Anya smiled encouragingly. "Don't worry about it. People run into me all the time. It's nothing new."

He quickly closed his sprial, "No, its my fault. I should of been paying attention." he sighed and ran his fingers through his hair and sank to the ground. "I'm such a prat." he muttered.

Anya rolled her eyes. "You aren't a prat. And if you think thats bad, I walk into walls. Talk about not paying attention to where I'm going."

Sam offered a smile and a shrug, "Thanks.." he muttered. He sighed and opened his sprial and began skimming through it.

"What were you doing that was so interesting anyway?" She asked. Anya loved talking to people. She was already begining to feel better, as she sat down next to him, a strand of long hair hitting his face. "Oops. Sorry," she laughed.

The third year skimmed through them intently. "These are ten times better than what I could write." A violet eyed girl walked across the grounds at that moment. "Aww look. The Gryffindor slut has got a /third/ boyfriend." Anya turned bright red. "Sod off, Celestia."

Sam blushed a deep shade of red, "Ermm..thanks." However when he heard the 'Gryffindor slut' comment he looked uo sharply a glear forming on his face. "Least she has boys that go for her"

Celestia's eyes flared with anger. "What? You little..." She lunged at him, long purple nails raking down his face. They were dangerously close to the edge of the lake...
