The fourth year looked at Lily, slightly bowing her head in response to the red head's greeting. "Evening," she replied quite plainly, trying to focus on Potter and Pattew as they began associating with one another once again. "Um," Andy began as she raised an eyebrow at James, just barley stifling a laugh as she noted his expression. "Someone might want to control that kid really soon." The Ravenclaw only spoke the truth, as 'Saint Potter' was suddenly looking suspiciously devious.
--but it was too late to stop him, for James had already taken his first swing at Jason.
"Dibs on Potter!" Andromeda recklessly spat over most of the noise in the Great Hall, a grin creeping up the side of her mouth as she glanced from Lily to Devin. "...sorry, I just had to do that," she confessed, linking her hands together innocently.
"Anyway," the Ravenclaw breathed as if she hadn't done anything just moments earlier, mentally setting all of her senses on her right side to calculate the actions of the fight going on just yards away from her.

Now, just because Jason never liked outdoor sports and just because he isn’t on the Quidditch team, doesn’t mean he is not good when it comes to reflect actions. In fact, for someone who has not seen the sun much, Jason was quite athletic, not much but enough, ‘trainings’ he got when he was a child, in an all boys’ school, where his was of the shorter variety. Believe it or not, this extremely tall kid here was once the shortest in his class, before he had a growth spurt. Anyway, Jason needed to be quick, so he trained himself, learning to avoid rather than stay put and defend, all the good that’ll do.
And so, that is just what Jason did, avoid. He did not parry James’ blow, for he knew it would be to no use, not when one is boiling with anger. No, he shied to the left as he always does. His right foot skillfully crossing his left, leaving him clear of James’ punch, but he had to act, and fast if he wanted to remain unhurt for long.
“Was what I said wrong, Potter? You claim the Slytherins are worthless pile of scum, though I may be inclined to agree on some points but have you ever considered yourself to even reach the position of a saint, no doubt you do though, since you are most supposedly to thick headed not to see the difference that lie between a Slytherin and a Gryffindor.” Jason said, standing to James’ (wait, I need to do some calculations.) right. (^^; heh)
Moving out of punching point, Jason thought he heard bits and pieces of Lily’s explanation, but it was too vague to be sure. His mind was fuzzy alright, but that did not mean he is too messed up to see James was in a mad rage which will probably double his strength. “Try not to do that again, Potter. I might have to resort to using my wand, and that would not be very nice.”
Ooc} Sorry if I appear to be power playing, I have had a bad experience once with some lunatic. -.- But I did mentioned Jason had good reflect action, somewhere and besides ^^ it prolongs the conflict. -grabs popcorn and soft drinks-

"Whoah, woah, woah!" The voice of Sirius Black once again made itself known.
The boy had managed to keep quiet whilst conversation continued between James and Jason. Even when Lily had cried her triumphant "I figured it out!", the boy had remained silent. But then fists began to fly. Or rather, James' did.
Sirius immediately sprang into action. In one smooth move that was so precise it seemed rehearsed, he shrugged off his suit jacket and thrust it into the arms of a Hufflepuff Fourth Year. Her cheeks darkened to a deep scarlet. While she burrowed through the crowd in order to hide her precious prize (swiftly pursued by a few members of Sirius' fan club) Sirius pushed the cuffs of his charcoal shirt up to meet his elbows. His movements, not to mention the muggle outfit he was wearing (he'd bought it whilst in London, with James) reminded him of that James Blonde film Remus had shown him... Tall, dark, handsome, sophisticated, heroic.
Though why the hero had been called Blonde, when his hair was as as dark as Sirius' own, Sirius had no clue.
Sirius shrugged this thought away and concentrated on looking calm and collected. And menacing. His dark eyes glittered as this word ran through his head. Menacing. He could do menacing. Teeth gritted, Sirius moved just in front of James. "Pattew, shut..."
But then he sniggered. Menacing was apparently hard to do, when your favourite cousin destroyed any tension present wth "Dibs on Potter!".
Biting back a grin, Sirius tried again, "Pattew, if you have something to say, say it. Stop hiding behind all your big words." The teen shook his head, "You're so pretentious, Pattew. But for once in your life, you're not only pretentious, you're right. If James goes for you again, you will be using your wand. 'Cause I'll be going for you with him. And afterwards, you'll be usng your wand to patch up all those broken bones we're capable of giving you."
((>.< Oh so rusty. Sorry.))

Jason coolly regarded the duo in front of him. He could take on Potter, sure. But Black as well? Not to mention the horde of fan girls behind them, then again, if the odds were on his side, he was sure he could handle this, mess, since apparently, it started with him, so technically, it will end with him.
Jason sighed wearily, but softly. Obviously, this pair were not going anywhere until they were assured that he would be 'punished' for what he had said, or something along those lines. "And why would I bother patching up my bones when I know they would most definitely be not broken?" He asked, eying the two lazily, hoping to stall them for as long as he could, well, until Lily grace them with what she had learned, until then, he would try his best to reduce what damage that he foresee might happen within the time slot.
Talking about reducing damage, Jason was rather curious as to why in the world no professors have come forth to deduct house points or anything. Its not like they are being sneaky and nobody else knows about this fight, frankly, its quite the opposite. He was very tempted to just stun the two in front of him, but he knows more than anyone, thanks to his righteous mother, that stunning an opponent while not in combat is most possibly the worse anybody can do, unless you are a Slytherin, that is, but sadly, he isn't. Lily, where are you? Could you at least tell me how I have gotten myself into this mess? Jason prayed silently within the confines of his mind, all the while looking coldly from first Potter's face, then to Black's.
