"Oh not at all. Just dozed off a bit." Devin said as the Gryffindor spoke. Then a few of his words swung back around her head and thwacked her like heavy bag of potatoes. He said /my dear/ Ravenclaw. MY DEAR.
Pfft, I'm sure it means nothing, probably just slipped out.
Hey, its YOU again! Go away Dammit!
Fine...But I'll be back...
Devin realized that they had both been drifting off a little, so hopefully she hadn't missed to much. "Anyways, seeing that we both have a rather short attention span, perhaps it would be nice to talk again under different circumstances. I mean, a classroom isn't exactly the ideal place to have a conversation."
Woooaahh! Hold up a second. What did I just say? Damn I think I just asked the boy out!
"Not, like a date or anything." she added quickly " I- I just thought it would be nice to talk to someone. And... well... yeah." The thirteen year old could feel a blush spreading across her face, and wanted more then anything for the awkward moment to pass her by. She looked down at the table and pretended to be amused with the feather on her quill.

Jason smiled at the flustered Ravenclaw.
Hmm... she looks cute when she is embarrassed.
Oo... Want me to tell her that?
Bugger off, dammit.
Jason and Devin, sitting on a tree...
I said shut it!!
First comes love, than comes the wedding...
Shut it or I'll hex you.
Then comes babies in your palm reading!!
...
You can't ignore me forever you know...
"Well then, Hogsmede this weekend?" Jason asked, his voice coming out slightly louder than he expected. Apologizing fervently to the next door 'Seers' who were staring daggers at him, Jason turned back to Devin. "You know, to hang out and chat?" Jason asked. "Not like a date, of course, but you know..." Jason added, trying and failing to look nonchalant. How does that Potter manage it? He fumed, drowning out other 'conversations' with his little voice.

"Hogsmead sounds great. I'll meet you at the three broomsticks." The words had just barely escaped Devin's lips as the Professor dismissed the class. "I best be off then, see you this weekend." She gave Jason a genuine smile, packed up her books and joined the large flow of students vacating the classroom.
So you ARE going on a date?
I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO GO AWAY!
//Shall we make a board in Hogsmead then? I wonder if we need to ask permission.//

{{ I think we actually completed a board... weird... Anyway, I think we have to ask the Moo, definitely. So, who's gonna ask?}}
Jason smiled and nodded as he stood up to pack, a warm flush had started to creep up his neck, almost as if he was embarrassed. Trying to cover up that fact, he replied. "The Three Broomsticks it is. See you!"
Aww... how cute, itsy bitsy little Pattew has a date...
Get lost you worthless piece of voice.
Ouchy, you hurt my feelings.
So? Too bad you don't have a body, or I'll hurt more than just your feelings.
Ooo... as if I'll be afraid. Catch you later, alligator...
You're leaving?!
...while you are on your date.
Knew it was too good to be true...
Jason walked out of the room.
