Sadie sighed inwardly as she moved her untouched egg around her plate with a fork before pushing the plate away from herself, suddenly feeling ill at the mention of the Ball.
She had been looking forward to the dance, but not anymore. Not now.
She frowned at some of the smug grins she was recieving from Sirius fan club members. She didn't give a damn anymore, to be quite truthful they could all ask him to the dance and she wouldn't be bothered by it.

Sirius turned around, impatient for his friend to answer. As he reached for a pear to add to his collection, the dismal Sadie caught his eye. Instantly, he whipped his head 'round again, "Great," he muttered, "As if my day wasn't already bad enough..."

James grunted in sympathy, still occupied with thoughts of Lily and Tobias. 'Ignore her,' he said, still impressed with Sirius' juggling abilities 'Unless you want to talk to her...??' He shrugged....

The young Gryffindor ate her breakfast slowly and wondered what kind of costumes everyone would be in and how people would recognise each other. She smiled as she thought of the mix-up that people could get into, two people might have the same outfit and you might end up dancing with someone you hate because you think they're your date. Lily silently laughed at that.
As she ate her toast quietly, Miss Evans blocked out the tones of the girls surrounding her, there were 2nd years, outraged that they were too young, and third years still wittering about Black. She glanced warily at the sausages in front of her plate and stabbed one with her knife, sliding it onto her plate, she picked up the fork in her right hand and picked at the meat lying on her plate. Slowly she ate most of it and left the 2 ends on the china in front of her, having this childish game with her sister about the ends of sausages and how you shouldn't eat them.

Regulus sighed and got up up from his seat and walked briskly past the Gryffindor table. Maybe it was best he couldn't go to the dance. He wouldnt be able to hurt anyone this way. He didn't look at Sirius or James as he passed the table.

Shrugging also, Sirius sighed. "Talk about her? Why would I waste my breath?"
The teen began to juggle once again, faster and faster, his mouth a line of concentration. The fruit wheeled 'round in the ari - until they fell about the juggling boy's ears. "Ouch..." he muttered - though his complaint was immediately drowned out by girls asking whether or not he was hurt.

'He's fine!' James said, waving the girl away impatiantly and earning a evil look, before his face split into a grin 'Are you ok?' he asked, painfully aware of Lily Evans on the same table. He avoided her and glared as Regulus walked by, a deep frown replacing the grin.

"Yeah..." Sirius muttered, I'm fine. Just fine. Thanks for getting them away..."
